Doca de Belem, with capacity for 194 vessels, resulted from the works carried out within the World Exhibition of the Portuguese World in 1940, finding themselves integrated in the monumental area of Belém, in the neighborhood of important architectural testimonies of Lisbon city history. The dock offers several services: floating footbridges, reception, water and electricity, fuel, waste and oil collection, mechanics, security systems, communication systems, toilets and weather forecast. Transport: taxi, train, bus, international airport 10 min Climate: mild and temperate. Wind: prevailing winds in the region are from the Northern quadrants (N) and Northwest (NW), with the highest frequency in the summer months. In winter, there is no predominant direction, and may the wind blows from the Southwest, West and Northwest, or more rarely, from Northeast or East.
